Lazy Eyes

A lazy eye occurs when the vision in one of your eyes doesn’t develop as it should. It is also referred to as amblyopia.

Strabismus, cataracts, and a droopy eyelid can cause a lazy eye. It’s important to start treatment for amblyopia as soon as possible.

Eye Laziness

Eye laziness can be diagnosed only during a clinical eye examination, as children cannot express their complaints. Amblyopia can also be inherited within families. For this reason, it is recommended that children with a lazy eye and their parents have their eyes examined by a physician before it is too late.

If strabismus is present, closure treatment can be applied before and after surgical intervention. In the treatment of lazy eye, it is very important to identify the underlying problem and administer the necessary treatment.
